1- Protests started on Tuesday, January 25, when -- inspired by the successful revolution in Tunisia -- thousands began taking to the streets to protest poverty, rampant unemployment, government corruption and autocratic governance of President Hosni Mubarak, who has ruled the country for 30 years. These were the first protests on such a large scale in Egypt since the 1970s
2- تفجير كنيسة القديسين هو عملية إرهابية حدثت فى مدينة الإسكندرية وسط الاحتفالات بعيد الميلاد للكنائس الشرقية. هذه العملية الإرهابية أوقعت 24 قتيلًا كما أصيب 97 شخصًا (بينهم مسلمون). وتعتبر أول عملية إرهابية بهذا المشهد المروع تحدث فى تاريخ مصر
3- The "Day of Revolt", protests erupted throughout Egypt, with tens of thousands of protestors gathered in Cairo and thousands more in cities throughout Egypt. The protests targeted President Hosni Mubarak's government, and mostly adhered to non-violence. Nonetheless reports emerged of civilian and police casualties.
4- إن ثورة 25 يناير كشفت عن الرابطة الحميمة بين أبناء الشعب المصري, فقبل أيام من اندلاع الثورة كانت البلاد تعيش حالة من التوتر بسبب تفجير كنيسة القديسين في الإسكندرية (التي يبدو وجود أطراف خبيثة وراءها). ثم أتت الثورة لتظهر تلاحم الشعب المصري ووقوف الشبان المسلمين بجانب إخوتهم المسيحيين وقيام الطرفين بمساعدة بعضهم البعض وحمايتهم.
5- The Egyptian Revolution, along with the events in Tunisia, have sparked a wave of major uprisings. Demonstrations and protests have spread across the Middle East and North Africa. To date Algeria, Bahrain, Iran, Jordan, Libya, Morocco and Yemen have all seen major protests, and minor incidents have occurred in Iraq, Kuwait, Mauritania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan and Syria.
6- أظهرت الثورة مدى الحب الكبير الذي يكنه المصريون لبلدهم, فطيلة أيام الثورة كان الشعار «سلمية.. سلمية» وكذلك «لا تكسّر ولاتخرّب». بالإضافة إلى قيام المصريين بتشكيل لجان شعبية (بعد اختفاء الشرطة) لحماية البلد وخاصة المتحف المصري ممن وصفوا بالبلطجية. كما سـُجّل خلال أيام الثورة انخفاض معدلات الجريمة والسرقة.
